Pastor Lloyd McCarroll Jr.

Since the time of my salvation I have had the call to preach and pastor.  This has been evidenced to me through the relationships that God has put in my life.  I believe the Holy Bible is the inerrant word of God, Christ centered and the absolute message of truth and salvation. I know the church needs a pastor to preach the Gospel in truth with grace.  It is my belief that the church needs a pastor to counsel Christians in these trying times with love and biblical truth.  The apostle Paul said this, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher” (Rom. 10:14)?  By the grace of God, I must do my best to preach the Gospel of Christ.

Furthermore, the Bible clearly states that lives are at stake.  The Gospel of Mark ever so poignantly says, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:15-16).  As a result, my mission is to live out a life that glorifies God Almighty.  In fact, I pray that as long as I am physically able, God will use me to share the love of Christ with others in whatever manner, place, or time He has chosen for me.

Tom serves as the youth leader for #TheCrew @ #Lakepoint. Originally from Oregon, OH Tom, his wife Lynden, three soon to be four beautiful daughters Lilyana, Josephine, Caroline “baby”, and unnamed baby #4 now reside in Oak Harbor just to the west of Port Clinton.
Tom despite growing up in  church Tom quickly faded  after graduation. That was at least until he met Lynden, whom gave her life to Christ at a young age. Lynden made a stipulation in their relationship, that  if they were going date, then Tom had to attend church with her and like any other wise man in his position Tom obliged.
Once Lynden had gotten Tom to come back into the house of the Lord, the Holy Spirit started His work on Tom’s heart and Tom
gave his life back to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who gave him a renewed heart and a desire  to serve for God.  Tom began to serving by playing on the worship team at church and eventually led the worship team.
It wasn't long after that the Lord brought them to Lake Point.
After settling in at Lake Point Tom began to play with the worship team, The Davies Family became members of the church, and their two oldest daughters Lilyana and Josephine gave their lives to Jesus. Then with the  need to restore a regular youth ministry at Lake Point Tom heeded Gods calling and decided it was time to venture into the realm that is youth ministry #TheCrew, and in the spring of 2016 the adventure began.
Tom enjoys playing and worshiping the Lord and serving with #TheCrew, he also enjoys many outdoor adventures. There may actually be a shorter list of things that Tom doesn’t like to do and has been told that “you need to just pick one hobby.”
Most of the time if they are not at church, running for Lilyana’s sports, the girls dance team, or Tom at the Gym, you can find them hanging out at home Lynden  usually taking care of the house and Tom tending to their garden, livestock, yard or other household duties.
Tom and his family just really enjoy where God has brought them, the blessings he has bestowed upon them, and the adventure he has before them.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40: 30-31
